An engine diaper is one of those things you hope you never need BUT... that one time you catastrophically break your motor, you'll be glad you have it. It's designed to retain engine fragments (and some oil) from hitting the ground and potentially puncturing a tire which could cause a loss of control and make that bad day thing, get worse.
